Amongst the awesome technology on Russian tycoon Roman Abramovic’s 557-ft Eclipse is an anti-photo shield that is designed to thwart attempts to capture his billion dollar baby on CCD.

The system detects the CCDs in digital cameras and fires off infrared lasers to render paparazzi camera rigs useless; film cameras should be fine though. Aside from the photo-shield, Abramovic has included defenses from more serious threats. The Eclipse is armor plated, sports bullet-proof windows and has a military-spec missile defense system. Watermelons might not hit back, but the Unbreakable Umbrella looks like it would send any would be attacker on his way, especially after you have issued him a couple of your finest.

The umbrella/weapon is constructed from ABS, is allegedly as strong as a steel bar, and weighs in at just 787 grams. As an added bonus, there are pictures proving that it has been carried on planes.

According to the manufacturer, training in a martial art such as Kendo would be an advantage, but is by no means necessary.

Anyone who can use a stick for defense can use this umbrella. Do you know how to swing a baseball bat? Do you know how to strike with a sturdy stick? If you do, you know all you need to know…
