Not that I think anyone would be stupid enough to try to carry one of these past a humorless airport security goon, but in case you think it would make a nice joke, allow me to inform you that it is probably the quickest conceivable way to a latex-gloved body cavity search in an airport backroom. With my disclaimer made, I can now inform you that the cases feature faux hatchets, knives and guns and are produced by French designer PinkWolf. There is no word on pricing or availability, but there is a contact point on the designer’s website in case you want to get one. [PinkWolf via Oh Gizmo, NotCot]

Wave power is definitely an interesting alternative when it comes to environmentally sustainable electricity. A prototype called Searaser has an interesting take on the technology, it uses wave power to pump water 650 feet uphill and then generates hydroelectric power by allowing the water to return downhill. The makers say that a full-sized model (the picture is a scaled down prototype) could power up to 470 homes, and that a deployment of 43,000 could power 20 million. The Scotsman Trufill beer dispenser takes a different approach to filling pints, by filling from the bottom up. In doing so, it is able to serve beer at the alarmingly fast rate of ten pints in ten seconds. One would assume that a specialized cups or glasses are required in order to make use of the bottom-up filling method, but if it gets us beer faster, I am all for it. The ProActive Sports Radio Controlled Incred-A-Ball is, as the name implies, a radio controlled golf ball; but don’t get any fantasies of sinking hole-in-ones from 400-yards, or magnificent puts from the edge of the green, it is a different kind of animal. The Incred-A-Ball has a radio activated gyroscope, turn it on and the ball goes crazy. It is recharged via a dock and is surprisingly cheap for a golf gadget.
