This pink camouflage monstrosity that you before you is truly a work of DIY art. For one thing, it is constructed from junkyard parts, for another it is pedal-powered and uses nitrous oxide to pepper onlookers with vaporized hotdogs, or water for that matter. It is almost too much awesomeness for one package. The man responsible is a 30-year-old from Philadelphia by the name of Vin Marshall and he has certainly outdone himself with this creation.

If those tiny iPod earbuds just don’t provide a look and a sound worthy of a true audio pimp like yourself, it might be time to step up to the Hesh Headphone Series from Skullcandy.
With 50mm high explosive power drivers, the Skullcandy Hesh will pump sound into your skull with an intensity found in no other headphone. The Hesh features the biggest power driver you can get coupled with sound-boosting parabolic ear-cups to produce studio quality sound in an affordable package.
No joke, these things look cool, they are relatively inexpensive, and they pump out enough power to make your head pop. Sounds like a great value to me.
Price: $49.95 ( available in 4 different styles )

In case the previous Geek Couture posts didn’t pleasure your geeky needs, maybe this set of Retro Jewelry is what you have been looking for all this time:
- To start the party we got some cool Floppy Discs Earrings that cost $18 and were made of hama mini beads (whatever that means). They measure 2,5cm across so you can have an idea if they are too big or small.
- Next item on the list is the Cassette Tape Necklace with a price tag of $27. Made with tiny perler beads and strung on a shiny silver plated chain. This one is a bit bigger – 48cm – but since it is a necklace that shouldn’t be a problem.
- Last but not least there is a Pink Cassette Tape Solo Earring which is similar to the first item but the differences are notable: smaller, uses different colors, and it is cheaper – $16.

Since the Japanese love for anime series and big robots is huge, they decided to create a replica of a robot called Gundam, which has been renamed to Gundam Fix Platinum.
The piece of art measures 12.5cm tall and weighs 1.4kg, like the name suggests it is made of platinum and to make it more valuable there is a 0.15 carat diamond located on its head, which gives a final price tag of around $250,000.
The platinum Gundam will be exhibited at BASELWORLD 2007, an annual watch and jewelry show held in Basel, Switzerland beginning April 12. After that, it will return to Japan.
I guess that only die hard fans of the Gundam series would think about spending 30 million Yens on the miniature robot, right?

Google has a big history that started on 1999 and is related to changing its homepage logo to match a specific theme, it can be:
- a season like Christmas
- birthday of a famous artist
- national holidays
- etc
The designer that makes these pieces of art is Dennis Hwang who works at Google as the International Webmaster. Anyway, the following list is what I consider to be the top 15 google logos since its creation to this date, they are not listed by quality but you can comment and say which is your favourite one.
Louis Braille’s Birthday – January 4, 2006

Inventor of the world-wide system used by blind and visually impaired people for reading and writing
