Canadian Plays Thirty-six World of Warcraft Accounts

You have to admire the tenacity / lack of social responsibilities that a fella must have to manage to play thirty-six World of Warcraft accounts; me, I can’t even manage to play one. Gamer Prepared gets a few advantages out of this enterprise, he can run raids all by his self and is thus able to eliminate the need for social contact even in the popular MMORPG.

You might be wondering how much he spends on all that gaming action and what he gets out of it. Read on to here Gamer Prepared explain. (more…)

eSATA Thumb Drive Faster But Not So Universal

Here is a novel concept from AO-Lab, a thumb drive that does not connect to your standard USB port, rather it connects to an eSATA drive, which is much, much faster. The only trouble I see for this technology is that very few people actually know what eSATA is, and not all computers have it. Antec Skeleton Case - Good For Customization, Bad For Kids and Pets

I am loath to call the Antec Skeleton a case, I believe the correct term for this type of thing should be frame. Go Easy Old Boy, British NASA Hacker to Face Justice, American Style

Some might argue that the U.S. doesn’t really have a great track record in respecting the human rights of foreign nationals, at least that is what was argued by the lawyers of Gary McKinnon, the Briton who found himself busted for hacking into the Pentagon, the U.S. Army, Navy and NASA in what has been described as “the biggest military hack of all time.” (more…)

Blu-Ray, SSD, When it Comes to Computers It’s Always Better to Wait

While I would love to be an early adopter, my frugality always gets the better of me and usually I am thankful that it did. When it comes to computers, the latest and greatest is almost always massively overpriced. Were it not for the fact that prices drop so drastically over a relatively short period of time, my thinking might be different. There are two new technologies that I am definitely interested in, but will most certainly be waiting another year or two for; Blu-ray and SSD. The two couldn’t seem more different, however, when it comes to pricing mechanics they are exactly the same. (more…)
