Now before you go and say, “meat in a can, that’s disgusting!” allow me to inform you that this is not just any meat, it actually looks pretty good. As described by the manufacturer:
Each can is 9 ounces of fully cooked and drained bacon. Between 2-3/4 and 3-1/4 pounds of raw bacon go into each can. Each can is the highest quality fresh #1 bacon slices. Cured to our specifications, cooked and then hand wrapped, rolled and packed in the U.S.
Sounds pretty good, and you will be thanking yourself for spending all of that hard earned money when you are eating delicious bacon whilst enduring a nuclear winter/zombie attack/meteorite strike/ etc. Uncanning after the jump. (more…)

I can see this belt being a big hit with paper thin celebs but not so popular with people who are “big boned”. The Weight Belt measures your waist in centimeters and lets the world know you might have a high affinity for Big Mac’s.

If you want a little Irish flavor in your home, why not set up your own Irish Pub. I am not talking a public house here, just an overblown home bar that will cost you squillions but reward you with oh so many temporary friends, especially on everyone’s favorite quasi-holiday. There are a few themes to choose from in the schemes offered by The Ol’ Irish Pub Company. They let you choose from whiskey themed, country style, brewery, shop style, Victorian and high-end Victorian. For my money the country style pub looks just delightful and I am sure that goes along with my love of whiskey just as well as the whiskey themed bar.
On a separate note, I don’t get the “everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day” thing but I do love drinking beer and like the color green. One of my fondest memories involved getting hot and heavy with a river-dancing lass after six or more pints of Caffrey’s. Her name escapes me, but I remember that she was a hairdresser.Alas, that was my wild and crazy youth. These days I would be wiped after pint three and going home for a good night of sleep. That and some jackass always feels the need to quote the only Irish person that I have a particular distaste for: James Joyce. Maybe I need to go to Ireland to really enjoy it.
