Renault F1 Salt and Pepper Shakers a Tad on the Pricey Side

Renault F1 salt and pepper shakers

Are the Renault F1 Salt and Pepper Shakers expensive? Yes they are, just a little.  They are ridiculously overpriced.  Why anyone would shell out hard earned dollars on this kind of junk is beyond me.  If you want classy salt and pepper equipment, go to Peugeot, there’s cost a lot, but nothing like these things.  What’s more the Peugeot models grind, which is infinitely superior to shaking.  You get so much more flavor from a grind than a shake.  Alas,  I digress.  I am supposed to be talking about the Renault F1 salt and pepper shakers and I allowed myself to get so worked up about the price I forgot where I was going.

They cost a lot, they are made from F1 parts, specifically the gearbox oil filter housing of the Renault formula one car.  Correct me if I am wrong, but are Renault not a sucky team.  They are constructed from silver plated aircraft grade aluminum, but that doesn’t matter because I want my condiments dispensed from a winner.  Give me Ferrari shakers and I might consider dropping $2216.  Then again I might not.
