LED Alarm Blocks Let You Play With Time

LED Alarm Clock Blocks
While there is quite an array of interesting clocks, both digital and analog, on the market, there really is only so much that you can do with the standard interface. Seiji’s LED block alarm clock offers an interesting alternative by connecting the different components of time using ribbon cables. This allows you to place your clock in different configurations and have a bit of fun with time.

Puzzle Alarm Clock Looks Seriously Infuriating

Puzzle Alarm Clock
Another annoying alarm clock that is almost certain to make the list if we do a part two of the Top 10 Most Annoying Alarm Clocks. The Puzzle Alarm Clock shoots out three simple puzzle pieces which you will need to retrieve and replace in order to make the alarm stop. This could be a problem depending upon the state of the room that the puzzle pieces are projected into. It better hope that the pieces are easier to find than my hammer.

Laser Target Alarm Clock Takes a Shot at Being Most Annoying Alarm Clock Ever

Laser Target Alarm Clock
The Laser Target Alarm Clock is a novel and some might say annoying solution to the problem of oversleeping. In order to stop the alarm, you must successfully shoot a target with a “laser gun”. Just make sure that you don’t lose the gun, because otherwise you may have to resort to more drastic measures for shutting the thing down. I don’t think I need my hand-eye coordination to be tested at the crack of dawn when I usually wake up.

Lexon Jet Clocks, Stylish, Affordable and Most Importantly – Readable

Lexon Jet Clocks

There is nothing worse than waking up bleary eyed without your glasses and not being able to read the time. I sleep with my cellphone next to my bed; so nine times out of ten it is not an issue, but there are plenty of times that I misplace my cellphone and that I would absolutely kill for a clock that I can read without my glasses (even if I have to get up close to do so). The Lexon Jet Clocks look like they might do the job. They have a large readable face and display all of the vital information; though we could do without year, even if it is the year Zz.

Theo Williams has designed a mighty fine clock and we hope that it makes its way over to you in the States and over to me here in Japan before too much time has passed.

Price: About $45

Seven, an Alarm Clock with a Difference

Seven Alarm Clock

I don’t much care for the name of this little digital dynamo, but I do like the features that it has been packed with. While MP3 playing alarm clocks are very much yesteryear fare, the Seven, which took out a Volvo design award, has a few tricks up its sleeve. It feeds you weather information, has a great looking display, oh and the kicker; it has an in-built motion sensor. Why do you need a motion sensor in an alarm clock? The sensor detects whether you are moving or not and will increase the volume to ensure that you wake up. There is also so mention of using it to answer calls. All-in-all, it is a very interesting take on the humble alarm clock.
