Mad Catz Modern Warfare 2 Controller Promises Better Fragging and Pwning

modernwarfare2controller
While the dangerous look that comes from the digital camo paint-job and the weapon-esque styling won’t help you rack up more kills, the extra button on the back that means you can reload without your thumbs ever leaving the sticks will.

The X-360 version isn’t wireless, which is a bit of a drag (more so considering that the PS3 version is), but some sacrifices are worth making.

Price: $50

Twelve Acceptable Father’s Day Gifts For Geek Dads

fathers
It’s Father’s Day again and you are here because you have no idea what to get your old man (or the father of your children) for this special day that comes only once a year. The problem is further compounded if your old man happens to be a geek and who as a result probably does not care for sports memorabilia of any description.

You have been debating getting him yet another tie, but you suspect that he just won’t like it. Your suspicions are correct, he will hate it because most ties suck and will just remind him of the corporate grind that he is forced to suffer through five days a week or more.

Fortunately, your quest for a better Father’s Day gift has led you here. Our list of acceptable gifts has been compiled by two fathers, both of whom concur that any item on the list would make either of their days.

Digital Camo Grill-wear, It Never Hurts To Be Prepared

tactical-grilling
Why not make mil-spec grilling gear? The Tactical Grilling Kit is constructed of 1000D Cordura in Universal Digital Camo and features modular webbing that accepts any PALS/MOLLE compatible accessory, and both the Tactical Spatula Sheath and the Tactical Beer Shingle fit that description.

Is it a stupid product? Many would argue that if you are grilling in a combat zone, then you are probably present a pretty easy target.

Price: $75 [Tactical Grilling via Uncrate]

Xbox Shoes Might Sound Ridiculous But Wait Until You See The Price

xkicks-1
Yeah, you probably would be right to point and mock at the guy wearing Xbox shoes with a battery-powered logo, in fact you would be wrong not to. According to the maker:

These are an exclusive pair…only one of its kind. Patent leather back with embedded fiber optic wiring in the shape of the XBOX logo. Battery placement is in the tongue as well as on and off switch that has 2 settings: Strobe or Constant light functions. Gradient lime swoosh faded to black. The toe is painted in a surreal Tiger Camouflage with accents of lime and bright green. These are a men’s size 11.

Shredded Paper Wallet Hides Your Bank Roll

The shredded paper wallet is designed to be innocuous, to the point that it could probably blend in with a pile of junk on your desk. But I am not so certain that it would go as far as to deter pickpockets.

Price: $16 [101Gear via Fashionably Geek]
