The Ferrari chair that you see before you is not just any chair – its construction consumed three years of designer Arthur Q. Reyes, Jr.’s life. As you can see from the picture, the footrest can mount a TV screen, what you can’t see is that it has a couple of subs under the seat and speakers near where your head would be.
You know how manufacturers tend to bestow gifts upon people that display ridiculous levels of fanaticism towards their products (think Zune Dude et al.)? Well, I think that Ferrari should step up to the plate here, what with him donating a significant portion of his life to building a chair in the image of one of their formula one cars and all.
Price: Not yet available (It’s just a prototype for now)

To me, these realistic slot cars from Hammacher Schlemmer seem to digitize the fun right out of an enjoyable pastime, but they are bound to be some people’s cup of tea.
Along with racing around the track at ludicrous speed, the operator will need to keep an eye on the fuel gauge, and time pit stops appropriately. If you “fill up” with fuel, your car will run more slowly, and if you tear into the pit lane too quickly you will get a one lap penalty.
The cars, a Ferrari 360 GTC, Chevrolet Corvette C6R, and an Aston Martin DBR9 each feature an on board chip that makes the “magic” happen.
Price: $499.95 [Oh Gizmo!]

RaceChairs takes seats from Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche sports cars and turns them into luxurious (and expensive) office chairs. They look comfortable, and have price tags to match their respective exotic pedigrees.

Prices: $3000 – $11,000, though if you are a tightwad they offer a Recaro model for $1500. [RaceChairs via Luxury Launches, Autounleashed, Car Scoop]

While many of us will never be able to afford, or even afford to run a real exotic car, some of us are likely to be able to afford a chair that is built from one of the seats of the aforementioned cars. Race chairs are built from the seats of the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Porsche lineups. They carry a rather hefty price tag, but for an office chair that really stands out from the crowd, it just might be worth it.
Price: Race Chairs start from $2,000 [Race Chairs via Uncrate, Gizmodo]

The Jerrari is a clever one of a kind combination of a Jeep and a Ferrari. The two cars are blended seamlessly together, but will leave most people scratching their heads asking why. The combination, if you ask me, is vehicular blasphemy of the worst order.
This one-off combines a 1969 Jeep Wagoneer with a Ferrari 365-GT front-end. Although currently equipped with a 350ci V8, it could easily be returned to its original Ferrari V-12 power plant.
Note, there are a lot of good shots of the Jerrari on the eBay site, but only the side profile really does it justice.
Price: The bidding is currently at a little under $13,500 but the reserve is not yet met. [eBay via Geekologie]
