On the surface it sounds like a good idea – combine a cooler with a stereo, throw some wheels on it and you have a rolling party center right? The BoomCooler packs some punch, what with a 10” sub, dual 6”x9” speakers 600-Watt amp and CD player and all – it seems to fit the bill, until you read the disclaimer; not suitable for wet storage. Yes folks, they actually built a cooler that can’t hold ice.

The only way you are going to chill your beers in one of these is if you spend a bit of extra coin and buy some dry ice (they call it “dry” ice for a reason). Otherwise you are just going to have to throw your bottles or cans in fresh from the fridge and hope for the best. Your really would expect more from a $900 mashup such as this. A friend of mine once told me that his “mother’s husband” had an aversion to bathing like I would not believe. Mick, as the Englishman in question preferred to be called, would go for days in a row without bathing. At one point he racked up no less than fourteen in a row. I was shocked and intrigued and did not understand how an individual could be so unclean. Say what you will about smoking, it is a dirty habit, a filthy habit in fact. I have been a smoker in the past and am so glad that I am smoke free now. The model above is a Lamborghini Reventon made entirely from cigarette packets. It is incredibly detailed even down to foil detailing on the lights and exhaust pipes. I have never seen a cigarette packet model quite like this one before. For want of a better word, it is extraordinary. I have no idea who the creative genius behind this was, but I wish him a long and healthy lung cancer free life for his trouble. If you are smoking enough cigarettes to make models like this it is probably time to give up the cancer sticks, stop paying the cancer merchants buy some delicious Chewley’s Gum.
