The Mavrinac website provides full instructions as to how you too can turn your broken SNES into an oversized digital clock. Sure, there might not be any actual reason to do this, but it does provide a great place to showcase one’s skills, and an extremely geeky objet d’art for the game room.

The The 5.11 Light For Life is a flashlight that claims to provide 90 minutes of light from a mere 90 seconds of charge, it does so thanks to super-capacitors. It comes with a rugged polymer body and uses three LEDs to produce light. Perhaps the coolest thing about it though is that it is rated for 50,000 cycles, which the website tells you will give you 130 years of use if you use it each day.

My guess is that the Batman costume hoodie won’t be winning regular wearers too many friends. It features just a dash of Adam West era Batman coupled with a whole lot of super-nerd. Read about some of the features of the hoodie and judge for yourself:
This Batman Costume Hooded Sweatshirt is based on the original gray Caped Crusader Bat-suit. The outside of the hood features Batman’s ears. The inside of the hood features a “drop down” mask that can be worn or kept folded under the hood. The cape can be easily taken off with metal snaps.

This really should be a Halloween-only type affair, yet methinks that there will be some sorry souls out there that think it to be the pinnacle of cool.
