When I get to thinking about all of the cool stuff we were supposed to get after the year 2000 I can’t help but feel a little ripped off. Luckily the folks at Kix-files are trying to get things heading back in the right direction Back to the Future II direction with a specially modified pair of Nike Hypermax NFW Back to the Future 2015 Marty McFly. These have glow-in-the-dark elements and appear to have an LED or two thrown in for good measure.

I have not played mini-golf in years. Would I play if I had a golf course in my basement? Of course I would, but first I would need a basement and a pile of money to purchase one of these black light mini-golf courses. For a nine-hole course, Black Light Attractions will charge you $90,000. In return for that rather large chunk of change, you get a whole lot of golf course, including:

• Professional logo for your attraction
• Glow in the dark golf equipment
• 25 cutout figures, 10 hanging figures per nine holes
• Sound system with sound effects

There are a few options to be had, but we have to agree with Baller House on their choice of the Hulk. It has the most geek credibility. Oh, and just in case nine holes is not enough for you, you can pick up an 18-hole course for $140,000. I am guessing you would want a pretty big basement and this is certainly out of reach for the common man, but we are entitled to our dreams, are we not?

A party just isn’t the same without some mood-setting dim lighting. Though, before your eyes have time to adjust, you might have some trouble finding your drink. Especially if the host is a little over-zealous with the darkness.
