Connecting a desk to a treadmill is not a new thing but coming up with a special chair to work with the treadmill desk is. The Trekdesk chair is designed to work with the Trekdesk to help burn calories while sitting. If you want to convert a treadmill at home into a treadmill desk, the Trekdesk chair fits under the deck of any existing treadmill and swings out of the way when not in use.

If you are interested in cycling, but not interested in sunburn and turnaround time, the Ergo Bike Premium 8i could be an interesting alternative. Produced by German manufacturer Daum Electronics, the Ergo Bike Premium 8i lets you go head to head with riders from around the world. It provides the rider with virtual representations of real courses. You are able to speak to other riders using VOIP, view their heart rate and watch them as it also incorporates a web camera.
The action of the Ergo Bike Premium 8i is designed to mimic the performance of a real bike. As it has no chain it is almost silent. The only noise that you need to hear is the sound of your own breathing, or the music blasting from the onboard MP3 player.
The Ergo Bike Premium 8i is an awesome start for this sort of exercise bike technology. The only way that this could possibly be cooler is if it could be hooked up with a monitor to display the virtual course. Having a map and watching other riders is one thing, but with exercise bikes I always feel like a hamster on a wheel. With visuals, you might feel like you are actually going somewhere. Still, building in more technology would only drive the price up even higher.

The Run About Ball is supposed to be used by hamsters, you know, for the daily exercise sessions they need.
The only problem is that you must place the little animal inside the ball and lock it, this can be good or bad depending on the hamster’s mood, I mean… What if he never stops running? What if he wants to get out of the ball but that is not possible because he is locked inside? Use it at your own risk, and don’t forget to talk about your experiments afterwards.
There are 2 sizes: regular with a 7-inch diameter; and giant with 11-inches.
Price: $5 or $13

My quest for the worst USB Gadget has led me to the USB Hamster Wheel. Basically this is how it works, as you start to type, the hamster starts running and the hamster wheel starts spinning. The faster you type, the faster he runs. Now that’s what I call motivation.
from the site:
Do you sometimes feel that you’re caught up in the rat race of the working world, and that you are chained to your desk and getting no-where fast? Well we’ve found the perfect way to lighten the load. Now we can’t promise to take you out of the rat race but we can throw a hamster in there to mix it up a bit.
