Paper towels kill poor defenseless trees and electric hand dryers use up a lot of energy, so there really isn’t a perfect solution to the wet hands bathroom crisis. Veltia is trying to change all that with their space age hand dryer.
The Veltia draws in cold air from the atmosphere which saves on energy and makes it difficult for bacteria to breed and multiply. It also dries both sides of the hand evenly in as little as 10-15 seconds – or so they claim. It sounds great, but when it comes to hand dryers, the pants usually do the bulk of the work. A good “Velta vs. Pants Challenge” would go a long way in convincing me.

The Swan Hand Towel Hanger is one of those minor accessories that can bring a whole lot of personality to your kitchen. As you can see, the towel holder and the accompanying wall mount are shaped like a dancing couple. The towel adds to the illusion by acting as a long, flowing dress. When the hanger and the wall mount are joined the couple appears to be dancing in each others arms.

How full is your kitchen towel drawer? I don’t know about you, but mine is totally packed. All those hand towels just take up way too much room, with their fluffy bigness. Too bad I can’t store my towels in much smaller spaces. Hey, wait a minute, look at this! It’s a Pill Towel! Just add a few drops of water and watch as the pill expands to a full-sized (11 by 9 inch) towel, of sorts.
This would probably be more useful for people going on hiking trips or something. While the towels might be handy, they probably aren’t actually a decent replacement for the terrycloth ones in your kitchen.
