iHome, the fine maker of the iPod alarm clock has come out with another place where you can stick an iPod, the under the cabinet radio. The iHome iH36 has a built-in motorized folding dock that allows charging capabilities for both the iPod and iPod Shuffle. The docking station has a 3 line LCD display and plays music even when the iPod is folded away in the docking station. To ensure you do not get out of hand and burn dinner, the unit also includes a built-in cooking timer. Price:$199
You love your little white apple so much that you even take it to bed. Well lucky for you iHome has come out with the iH5 clock radio. The iHome iH5 lets you wake up to music from your iPod, an AM/FM radio or buzzer.The iH5 charges your iPod while docked and even comes with line-in to connect non-docking iPods (or non-iPod audio players) . The iH5 also features “Gentle Wake and Gentle Sleep,†which “gradually increases and decreases Alarm/Sleep volume for a more relaxing beginning and end to each day,†and utilizes Reason8 speaker technology to create “sound quality that has outstanding depth, clarity and power.â€
According to the iPodlounge, the iH5 will be available in August for $99.99, and that a website for the product will go live later this week.
