DIY All-White Das Keyboard for Macs

apple-keyboard-all-white-450x450
One of the worst keyboards for touch-typing in the world has now been made worse (if that is even possible) by a modder who has decided to cover the keys of his or her Apple keyboard in white spraypaint. The modder did a good job with the painting, but there are so many better choices of Mac-friendly input devices that will let you churn out a lot more words per minute with or without visible key labels. BTKeyMini, A Mini Bluetooth Keyboard for Your iPhone

The BTKeyMini is a rather convenient little iPhone accessory, particularly if you spend more time tapping out messages on your touchscreen than you do talking on the phone. It is a miniature QWERTY keyboard with an iPhone holder built into its cover. It has been available for pre-order since August, but there is no word as of yet when it will actually hit the streets.

Steampunk Mac Mini, Keyboard and Monitor Make one Great Wedding Present

Steampunk Desktop

When I got married, I asked my friends to keep it simple.  If they wanted to give me anything, they could give me cash to help cover the cost of the whole shebang.  I couldn’t very well cart all of the presents with me back to Japan.  Though, if I had a friend like Dave Veloz, I might consider.

This has to be the coolest wedding gift I have ever seen.  Though it is not a wedding gift in the traditional sense, as Dave was giving it to his wife; which means that he will still, hopefully be able to use the thing that he worked so tirelessly to create.

While I don’t normally approve of Apple products, I would not be ashamed to have this one in my home.  Check out the link for a lot more pictures.

Breakfast Themed Wrist Rests Look Scrum-diddly-umptious

Breakfasty Wrist Rests

Why would you want a Breakfast Themed Wrist Rest Set? I never was a fan of the wrist rest until I bought a Razer eXact Mat and decided to throw in the extra five bucks to see what all the fuss was about. Now I will never go back. They are great, especially when you type a lot. I am not in the market for any new wrist rests, but I have to say that these do look fun in a kitsch sort of way. RSI is no joke people, it can take years of rehabilitation to repair the damage that is done by poor posture and cheap, poorly designed keyboards and mice. Get ergonomic equipment and cough up a few extra bucks for a wrist rest and you might spare yourself a long and painful recovery.

Introducing an advanced new Power Functions System designed to bring Creator sets to life via the integration of two interchangeable motors, the Monster Dino can walk and roar at the touch of a button. Controlled by an independent hand-unit, Monster Dino can move forwards, backwards and emit a bloodcurdling roar with fully mechanized joints making it terrifyingly realistic. The unique LEGO Creator concept challenges builders aged 9+ to combine and create each kit into three different build options. In this case, Monster Dino can be re-assembled to introduce two alternative predators – a tail-whipping crocodile and scuttling deadly spider each powered by remote control.
