One of my favorite games when I was growing up was Afterburner. Why? Because it was a lot of fun moving with the game; turn left and you move left, awesome. Which is why the Gyroxus has me curious, I must say that I am intrigued at the idea of being able to recreate the whole experience in the comfort of my living room. It is compatible with all major consoles, including: PC, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PS3 and PS2 consoles.
Price: $479 [Gyroxus via Ubergizmo, Bornrich]

Monopoly is just about everyone’s favorite board game, so you have to wonder why it took this long to combine it with everyone’s favorite old school video games. Mario and Luigi take the place of Park Place and Boardwalk. It looks like fun and at only $33.00 the price isn’t that bad either.
By the way, if you can name every character on the board and the property that they represent you will earn my undying respect and admiration.

As a rule I don’t, under any circumstances, wear trucker hats. There is something about the look that always has and always will rub me the wrong way. Don’t get me wrong, they are fine on other people, just not on my noggin. If, on the other hand, a trucker hat were to come along with a Duck Hunt logo, well let’s just say that rules are made to be broken. Have you ever seen a finer piece of head wear?
