There is a room in my apartment that is fast becoming a computer graveyard as I find it very difficult to part with my old technology. These days I have been considering finding some uses for my old bits and pieces, but I am not very artistically inclined. I will likely never progress beyond the level of HDD paperweight, but luckily for me, there is Etsy. The Geek Gear shop has just added a mighty fine CD-ROM clock to their lineup that looks an absolute delight; the perfect addition to any geek’s bedroom, gaming room or home office.

While we already mentioned good looking paperclip holders, such as the Kung Fu or the Magnetic Ball, this one has a special characteristic which is being very similar to Koziol Neil.
The Curly Paperclip Holder is exactly what the name suggests, a paperclip holder, but his curly design makes it different from the others. If someone uses it a lot, they will end up creating new hairstyles for the little fellow, but I guess that won’t be the main interest while using it.
Curly is available in 4 colors – blue, green, orange and red – and it is made of plastic.
Price: $16

An amusing gift in vinyl and steel.
If you think the Magnetic Ball is an uber paperweight, it is because you don’t know the Important Paperweight, yet!
In case you didn’t notice (or can’t view the image of this post) the Important Paperweight has a shape of a real crumpled paper, which makes this product get on the top 10 irony list that I’m creating and plan to publish in 1 year, or less.
Price: $28 each, options are blue or yellow.

Do you have a passion for cars? And paper clips? And what about paperweights?
If the answer to the 3 questions was yes, you are going to love the Troika Full Speed Paperweight & Paperclip Magnet.
This office gadget measures 70×53x40mm and I bet it isn’t light, otherwise it wouldn’t be a paperweight.
Sadly it is only available in silver.
Price: $40

Why waste space and money on a high tech compartment for paperclips, when you can have an uber 2-in-1 product that does the same thing? It combines a paperweight and a magnetic system so you can place all the paperclips on an easily accessible spot.
The base is made of rubber so the ball won’t be rolling all the time, besides that, the sleek design and multi-task of the Magnetic Ball Paperweight is what attracts me the most. Now I just need an office and some papers to use this…
