GavinTats a tattoo artist and case modder has produced this incredibly awesome Alien PS3 case mod. The effect was created by sculpting epoxy putty which was then covered in black paint.

No Love For Microsoft From Logitech’s Premium Wireless Guitar Controller
As far as wireless guitar controllers go the Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller Premiere Edition is up there with the best of them. It might even be argued that it is the best of them. Aside from the quiet strum bar, it is the level of detail that sets this apart. It features a real wood neck, metal frets and peg handles and a rosewood fingerboard. Unfortunately, this piece of musical gaming artistry is only compatible with PS2 and PS3.
Better than a cheap plastic imitation, perhaps, but I still play guitar games using a standard controller and am more than happy not to fill my living room with fake instruments.

The MGS4 PS3 Mod to Rule Them All
Morpheon Mods are the folks behind what is truly a special PS3 mod that is now on the block at eBay. There is an impressive stainless steel MGS4 badge that has been laser cut and which provides just the right amount of contrast to an impressive laser etched image of Solid Snake. It lights up too, courtesy of 14 white micro LEDs. The icing on the cake, depending on which way you look at it could either be Hideo Kojima’s autograph or the carbon fiber Fox Hound logo that can be found at the back of the machine.
The price tag, at the time of writing was $1500 but expect that to go up, there are sure to be a lot of people interested in this one and a few of them will undoubtedly have deep pockets. [PS3 Fanboy via Engadget]

Why I’m Buying an X-Box 360
Indulge me in a little rant here folks, because I have just dug deep into the old bank account to shell out a chunk of change for something that I have not bought in a long, long, while – a console.
