Remember the bloody shower curtain and bathmat that looked like they came out of the Bates’ residence? If you do then you will be pleased to know that they are now available from Think Geek and have been renamed the Horror Movie Shower Curtain and Bath Mat. The set is great if you want to frighten off any unwanted house guests, probably not if you want anyone to stay the night.

Price: The shower curtain and bathmat are priced at $14.99 and $17.99, respectively. [Think Geek]

It can be pretty hard to get a hot shower when you are camping, let alone a ten minute one, but hte Zodi Camp Shower changes that, with this little propane-powered beauty. One fill is good for ten minutes of piping-hot cleansing water, which is more than enough. Sure, you might go camping to get away from modern conveniences, but this helps you return to civilization a little less stinky.
Price: About $90 [Sportsman Guide via Red Ferret]

There is nothing like a nice, long, hot shower in the morning before work – especially in winter. Unfortunately, that is not the best for the environment, more so in my native Australia, but it applies pretty much equally everywhere. The Eco Showerdrop times and measures your shower so that you can get out in a reasonable amount of time, after a reasonable amount of water has been used or just feel so guilty that you avoid bathing all together.
Price: $20-25 – Available in the U.K. [EcoKettle via Smart Planet, Tree Hugger]

If you want an outdoor shower for your swimming pool and don’t much care for a cold one every time that you take a dip, Hammacher Schlemmer’s solar-heated 86° F outdoor shower is one solution. You connect the outdoor shower to a regular garden hose. It holds up to 16 gallons in the base, where two hours ought to be enough to heat it to a more comfortable temperature.
Once heated, you can enjoy eight two minute showers and it has a dial so that the shower will be precisely timed and water hogs can’t make excuses. 86° F isn’t exactly warm, but it is a lot better than no heating at all and it is cheaper than a fully plumbed shower.
