It looks like a motorized skateboard with tracks instead of wheels and comes in two versions: an all-electric that is capable of 35 km/h or a far more masculine 4-stroke-powered version that can bust out 60 km/h; the choice, which will determine the range of injuries that you find yourself presenting at your nearest hospital with, is yours.

If you grew up in the late 80s and early 90s, chances are that your entertainment diet consisted of more than one bad skateboarding movie and you have a soft spot for the four-wheeled boards. So, I am guessing that there may be an untapped market for skateboard chandeliers, but I’m really not sure.

This is, without a doubt the coolest controller mod I have seen ever before. Accelerometer data is captured via a WiiMote and sent to a PC, where it is used to play Tony Hawk Pro Skater.

Segway skiing looks like a highly amusing way to start pursuing new career challenges. The only thing that I could suggest to make this better would be to stick a big wheeled skateboard behind the Segway, that would result in an exponential lift of the injury potential and as a consequence the excitement potential of this “sport”.
