I am a sucker for some good movie memorabilia. Personally, I found Spiderman 3 a little bit long in the tooth, but it has its fans. A few props from the franchise have been doing the rounds and the Green Goblin stuff has been among the most popular. It is a hard rubber sword, 31-inches long and said to be in perfect condition. The detailing looks pretty cool and I the seller buysellcollections has a solid 99.7% satisfaction rating. That all makes for a big auction. The starting price is a little higher than we would like, at $900, which means it will probably be getting up there when the auction closes.

Personally, I think having a landline phone in this day and age is totally unnecessary. However, owning an Animated Spider-Man Phone changes things a bit. I know your iPhone has all of these fancy features, but does it have a Spider-Man figure that talks and web-slings to the sounds of the Spidey theme song when there is an incoming call? I think not.
A video of the phone in action.

Forget that “age 3-10″ nonsense - geeks of all ages will find it hard to resist a set of walkie-talkies shaped like Spiderman and Venom.
Each character’s right arm turns into an antenna - all you need to do is lift the arm, click the button, and start talking. And if you think I ( a grown man ) would have any reservations about sitting around talking to a friend via a spiderman’s crotch, think again.

If the summer movie list leaves you unexcited, the summer gaming line up will not. There are an unprecedented number of hot first person shooter titles coming out over the summer. Whether you have a PC, a 360 or a PS3 there is sure to be a title to catch your interest. Rather than jam all of this into one article, it is going to be a three part series. We are going to avoid the niceties and focus on what really counts, the things that go bang. We have gone out of our way to source as many images of the weapons as possible. There is a high likelihood, however, that we missed some out. If you believe that one was missed, make a comment and include a link to an image and we will work on getting it up.  The first part of our series is Halo 3. Please put your fanboyism on hold and appreciate some of the fine games that are available for the different consoles.
Bungie’s Halo 3 is perhaps the most anticipated game for Xbox 360 gamers. It is not going to hit any other platform initially, though it may go to PC later. Microsoft is going for broke marketing the game. “Halo 2″ had the most impressive first day sales of any game ever released. $125 million on its first day alone, there are only movies that have ever beaten “Halo 2″ in the box office, “Spiderman 3″ and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.” This could be just the game to dig Microsoft out of its Xbox 360, considering the amount of faulty consoles that they sold.
