I wouldn’t go as far as calling this a spy camera, it is pretty tiny, but an oversized roll of film definitely stands out. What it is, is more like a kind of sick joke, at the expense of poor, old, soon to be extinct film. It is after all, a roll of film that transforms into a digital camera.

Previously we showed a picture of the back end of the new Mac Mini and it sparked a few questions. As you can see from this video, the optical drive is located in the front of the machine (where one would naturally assume it to be). The Lighter DVR from Ajoka is about the best spy cam inclusive device I have seen in a long time. People take lighters out of their pockets and put them on the table all the time, and the shape of the lighter will keep it in prime filming position because it can sit flat (unlike a pen). The only thing that gives the game away is the underside of the lighter where the microSD slot, switch, record button and USB port are clearly visible.

Hopefully, they incorporate some sort of rubber base to conceal all of the ports, otherwise, you better hope that it never falls over at an inopportune moment. The camera shoots in QVGA (640×480) at 30 FPS and incorporates a microphone. It can accept up to an 8GB memory card, and has battery life that is good for six hours.
