Think Geek has brought out two flavors of Star Wars inspired slippers. You can get them in Yoda or Vader. I cannot help but think that they could have done a better job. They look cumbersome, extremely tacky and not practical at all. I like the occasional bit of Star Wars merchandise but this is going too far.
I do get the slipper thing, especially since I moved to Japan. I have a no-shoes household, it keeps the floor clean. I have half a dozen pairs of sensible, comfortable slippers that I can give to guests. The idea is to make them feel comfortable, not embarrassed and that is all anybody would be wearing these monstrosities.
