I’ve got to say, this leaves me with mixed emotions. I still have an old NES sitting away somewhere, and it would be very hard for me to rip the guts out of the cartridges that I loved so well and stick HDD parts in them; but let’s face facts, old games can be emulated and putting a cartridge to other uses is a great reminder of times gone past.

These classic Famicom (NES) cartridge business card holders embody just about everything I like in a product: they have some retro appeal and they are extremely geeky. I am not quite sure how they would go down in a corporate board meeting, but for casual business card distribution, they are a winner.

Anemone Asteroid Bag

I suppose it goes without saying but you would be hard pressed to find a more unique outfit accessory than the Anemone Asteroid Bag. Sure it looks cool, but it’s also versatile – you can wear it as a one strap handbag or a two strap backpack.
The product site suggests that the bag would “be a great addition to any cyber industrial outfit.” I can see that, but I can also see a “Bowser” from Super Mario Bros look going on here.

The Princess (from Super Mario Bros) On A Shirt

Are you a fan of the Princess, the character from Super Mario Bros? If so you will be thrilled to know the existence of a shirt with a cross-stitched image of her.
This is a hand-made product so you won’t see it on the stores, but if you want to know some of the reasons why JK asked his mom to make the shirt, here they are:
- I spend way too much time in front of a computer.
- I”ve always thought that the grid-pattern on my dress shirt looked like pixels.
- I love Super Mario Bros.
