A new system from Lutron, the company that developed the dimmer switch is now offering an iPhone- iPod Touch-controlled home lighting system. All you do is screw your lamp into a Lutron wireless module and the software does the rest. Sounds simple, but be prepared to be slugged a pretty penny or two for the wireless modules. Much like many of the other computer-driven lighting systems, the Lutron system allows you to divide your house into control zones.
Price: Lutron iPhone App - FREE; Wireless Controller - Price Unavailable, but you are probably going to need to fork over a few hundred dollars to fit out an average house.
