Here is an awesome idea for a Halloween costume, if you celebrate Halloween and you have friends. Get a bunch of people together and go as a few lines from Tetris. It surely can’t be cooler than that. The pieces do come apart, in case you want to go solo, but I think it would lose its certain something-something if you did that. If you are aiming to lift your ping pong game to any sort of standard, then you are going to need to practice; a lot. The Donic Newgy Robopong 1040 holds up to 200 balls, which it will launch at you with varying amounts of speed and spin. It will also place the ball in different places on the table thanks to its oscillating head.
If you want to spend more time practicing than you do hunting down balls, then you will probably want to also purchase the catch net accessory, which collects and feeds the balls back into the basket.
Price: $740 and an additional $530 for the net. [Jarvis Sports via OhGizmo, Electric Pig]
