Or, if like me you do not care what somebody you have never met (and would probably not get along with if you did meet) has stuck to their roof then you could avoid the page like the plague; either way.

GitEmSteveDave was kind enough to teach others how to make a magnetic rooftop coffee cup, because such a hobby likely only appeals to people who don’t know how to stick a magnet in the bottom of a paper coffee cup; trust me it is not rocket science.

Compared to other plants, cacti don’t need a whole lot of love to survive, they are hardy plants – but they take a long time to grow and look pretty ugly if they are damaged; luckily there are some durable fakes made out of metal that can be had instead.

The steel cacti are available in four finishes: galvanized, patina rust, verdigris, and mirror, and are a lot more expensive than the real thing.

If this DVD rack made from VHS tapes gets you all teary eyed, you are probably not alone, but remember DVDs are superior to their humble predecessor in all ways. Still, this project is a clever way to reuse a bit of old and useless technology and to remind yourself of how much life sucked when you had to rewind tapes before returning them.

As designated coffee maker for a small group of teachers that refuse to drink the drek that spews forth from our office coffee dispenser, I have had to carry a few scalding cups in my time. Linking the cups together might seem unnecessary, and could in fact be so, but it would no doubt make things a whole lot more stable.

Each cup has a male and female adapter, so any number can be linked together for easier carrying, but at $54 for a set of three, they are kinda pricey.
