Asus has brought a happy compromise to the table for the people that want to have USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 but don’t want to get a whole new motherboard for the privilege. It comes in the form of the U3S6, a PCI-E card that features a pair each of USB 3.0 and SATA 6.0 ports.
At the moment there aren’t a lot of USB 3.0 devices on the market, but give it time; contrary to what a lot of commentators believe, we will start seeing the first trickle of devices sooner rather than later. The key technologies that are going to push USB 3.0 are display over USB and our increasing use of flash memory.

Nothing beats the warmth and smell of a real fire, but these electric radiators from Nobo provide a fairly happy compromise. The fire pit and fireplace offerings use projected video to simulate flames; the flush control panel is used to set temperature and lighting.

Price: The fire pit and fireplace are priced at $2800 (pictured top) and $2150 (pictured bottom), respectively. While that might seem like a lot, it is quite affordable in comparison to the cost of putting in the real deal. [Nobo via Born Rich]

While the dangerous look that comes from the digital camo paint-job and the weapon-esque styling won’t help you rack up more kills, the extra button on the back that means you can reload without your thumbs ever leaving the sticks will.
The X-360 version isn’t wireless, which is a bit of a drag (more so considering that the PS3 version is), but some sacrifices are worth making.

Email encryption has really made a splash as of late thanks to US president Barack Obama being allowed to keep his trusty sidekick better know as a Blackberry. N-Krypt email solutions which we have featured here in the past lets you send email using banking level encryption while allowing you to track the progress of the email. Over the last couple weeks I tested it out on 4 different environments, Outlook, web mail, Blackberry and the iPhone. I have to say the email service is rock solid, works as promised and is truly uber cool. The screencast below features the highlights of N-Krypt (powered by email2) email solutions .

[side note: This is my first video produced and during the importing and exporting from the various editing software, the video quality is seriously diminished. Sorry]
