Toastabags Grill Sandwiches in your Toaster

If you budget doesn’t stretch to afford a toaster oven or grilled sandwich maker, then there is a way that you can enjoy the melty deliciousness of freshly grilled sandwiches (just as long as you have a toaster). Toastabags are reusable bags that you can put in your toaster. The idea is that you put your sandwich in the bag and then toast it as you would a normal piece of bread. The bags can then be washed and reused the next time around.

Steampunk Clock, the Perfect Wedding Gift?

Steampunk Clock
For some reason most people seem to give useless crap at weddings with the right intentions. Most people end up with multiple toasters or blenders and end up passing them on at the next wedding; and so the cycle continues. The Steampunk Clock that was given for Ehren’s wedding, however, comes dangerously close to being perfect. I mean, you can always use another clock and a clock with copper and brass on it, well that is just too cool for words.

It comes by way of Diversified Artistic Designs (D.A.D.) to whom, if I were wearing one, my hat would be off. Is this the perfect wedding gift or what?

Microwave With Built in Toaster, a Tech Mashup That Actually Works

LG LTM9000 Microwave and Toaster Combination

LG LTM9000 microwave and toaster combination is the first mashup that I have seen in a very long time that actually works, in the figurative meaning of the word. This is no MP3 playing washing machine, it is two food-related items put together to save space and money. Building a toaster into a microwave makes sense, especially if you have a house where kitchen space is at a premium. While 900W is pretty wimpy on the microwave power scale, it gets the job done and at just $140, you can’t really ask for much more.

ToastWare Countertop Belt Toaster Cranks out Tons of Delicious Toast

Countertop Toaster

I only eat toast occasionally and have not had a good bagel since I got to Japan. Would I eat more toast if I had a commercial toaster? Probably not, but it would be a cool thing to have. If you have a really large family or share a house with a large number of people, it could cut down on disagreements as well. For home use, I am guessing that most people can probably opt for the basic model which will do you 250 slices of toast per hour. Each slice comes out toasted perfectly in accordance with your settings.

The basic CT-250 model is about $700. If you absolutely must have 750 slices of toast per hour then you can get the CT-750 for about $870.

High Tech Toaster from Philips, Has the World Gone Mad?

Philips Toaster

Can someone please explain to me why anyone needs a high-tech toaster. I make my toast in a toaster oven that is deliciously low-tech. I turn a dial for the timer and listen to it buzz away as it counts down. I adjust the length of time depending on the thickness and type of bread. It is not rocket science; if you can’t get toast right then you have some serious problems that need more than a high-tech toaster to solve.

Philips thinks that we need a high tech toaster, so they have given us the 1200W HD2618. It is a 1200W toaster, so it should get your breakfast of champions ready in a very short amount of time. It has a removable non-stick crumb tray and a one sided toasting option. The anodized aluminum finish and digital countdown timer look very sweet, but remind yourself, it is a toaster; the absolute bottom of the appliance food chain.

Price: $120, which is a little expensive for a toaster if you ask me.
